Portraits of the Passion

Posted by bbullis on February 13, 2015

There's something exciting to look forward to this weekend, as we're starting a new series entitled "Portraits of the Passion," a study that will look at Easter through the eyes of the various people involved.  Each week we'll have a special appearance of one of these biblical characters telling their story!  You won't want to miss a single week! (and be sure and invite your friends!).  In the spirit of the Lenten season, I'm praying this will help us focus again on what Jesus did for us by dying for our sins; and will prepare us for our celebration of His resurrection on Easter Sunday!  He is risen…He is risen indeed!

Also, I have to mention that it looks like we have the potential for a small snow storm on Saturday night.  It probably will not amount to much, but if they happen to close C. Milton Wright, we will again be meeting at Evans Funeral Chapel, 3 Newport Drive, Forest Hill.  Service time would be the same, 10:30 a.m.  Check the church web page for any inclement weather information (www.crossroadsmd.org).  Thanks for being flexible!

And thanks to all of you for your commitment to CrossRoads; and thanks to those who are involved in our month of prayer and fasting.  I know God is moving as a result of our prayers!
