Smith's Chapel Food Pantry
First Sunday Collection

Every First Sunday in each month we collect donations of pantry items, cash or checks to donate to Smith's Chapel Food Pantry located in Churchville, MD.  Local grocery store gift cards are also appreciated.  A collection box is located at the CRCC Welcome Center for the cash, checks and gift cards.

Checks should be made payable to:  Smith's Chapel UM Church and "Food Pantry Operations" written on the memo line.

This Christmas send an MP3 to the Tarahumara
Because over 95% of Tarahumara adults are illiterate, the MP3 player project was launched to reach these communities. Loaded into each MP3 player are scriptures and songs about God in the native language. Sierra Send is equipping teams of Tarahumara believers who hike regularly to villages to share the MP3 players and follow up with people who want to know more about God. For the first time in history, many Tarahumara people are hearing the Gospel message in their own language!
