Children's Christmas Musical

This year's children's Christmas musical is called "Really Really Really Good News" by Nick Robertson, Anna Clark and Alisen Wells. 

Start telling friends and family about December 17 now! It’ll be a delightful way to share the really really really Good News of how God sent us Emmanuel.

The rehearsal dates for this show are on the following Sundays:

September 17

October 1

October 8

October 22

November 5

November 19

December 3

December 10

The dress rehearsal will be Saturday December 16

The performance at church will be Sunday December 17.

The schedule is intended to give kids plenty of time for musical work and social play, while giving parents a couple hours to themselves. Camp will begin with lunch at 12:15 and parents are free to leave. PLEASE BRING A LUNCH. Around 12:30, I’ll kick things off with our first activity. Not every week will follow the same pattern , but in the course of 2.5 hours, we’ll have song practice, choreography practice, Good News practice (to support the theme of the musical), and games. We’ll conclude at 3pm. 

Attendance makes for cohesion. I understand that we’re coming up on a very busy season, which is why I’m not scheduling practice every weekend. But like sports practices, if a child misses a practice , they forget some of the skills they’ve learned. PLEASE don’t miss out on these fun and important weeks. If your child wants a speaking part or musical solo, they may not miss more than two. If your child doesn’t have a solo or speaking part, please don’t miss more than three. Dress rehearsal is “all hands on deck.”
