Assembling Bethlehem and the various scenes of our Living Nativity officially launches us into the celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Even as you came into the facility today, and walked through the door to the Inn at Bethlehem, you had to recognize that Jesus was born in a real place, among real people. That’s going to be our focus for the next few weeks, called “The Place of Christmas.” We will focus on understanding that Jesus was born and raised in real places, which will hopefully deepen how Christmas has a place in our lives. Today we look at Nazareth, seeing Jesus’ humble beginnings in His home town.
