Today we come to the final verse in the final book of the Bible. Revelation- with its letters to the churches, the seals, trumpets, and bowls, visions and battles, heaven opened and earth renewed. The Scripture does not end with a chart or a timeline, but with a blessing. The last word God gives His people is not fear, not warning, not instruction, but grace. “The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints. Amen.” And in that single sentence, God sums up everything He has been saying from Genesis to Revelation – that He has given us a wonderful promise, His unmerited favor forever.
