Matthew 27: 1-5

As we continue our study of those biblical characters who encountered Jesus, today we look at Judas Iscariot, the disciple that betrayed Jesus.  His story is perplexing to us, as he was one of the twelve disciples, followed Jesus during the three and a half years of His earthly ministry, hearing His sermons, and seeing His miracles. And yet he betrayed Him.  When he realized what he had really done, we read that he “was remorseful.”  But remorse is not repentance, as we will see in a REGRET THAT’S TRAGIC.
