As a follow-up to celebrating Motherhood last week, we want to deepen our understanding of Parenthood, specifically fulfilling our responsibility to raise our children according to God’s Word. In Exodus 20: 12, we read “Honor your father and mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you,” which is repeated in Ephesians 6:2 when Paul says “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.” (Eph. 6:1). How do we follow God’s instructions in raising our children, to be about Christian Parenting?
