"Revelation chapter 14 continues the interlude between the seven trumpets and the seven bowls. We must be reminded again that the seventh trumpet brought us to the very time of the end (10:7), but before the actual coming of the end John was given visions which represent to him that the end time will be the final manifestation of the age-long struggle between the Kingdom of God and the power of Satan…Now, just before the outpouring of the bowls of God’s wrath and the coming of the end, John is again assured that the consummation is in God’s hands; that the wicked, the godless civilization of the beast will fall under divine judgment, and that the saints will be brought into their eternal salvation."
