With a few short weeks until Easter, we want to take the time to refocus our attention on our relationship with Jesus Christ; to deepen our love for Him and more fully appreciate His death, burial, and resurrection.
We will deal with four disciplines that mark the Christian life – Prayer, Giving, Forgiveness, and Fasting.
Giving is a spiritual discipline, that reflects the heart of God. As such we learn to give, from the truths of God’s Word, until we fully embrace the fact that we are more blessed when we give than when we receive.
As we did with prayer, we begin in the book of Revelation, with the elders around God’s throne. They give their crowns over to God in recognition that He created all things and therefore deserves our all.
