Revelation 19 begins with the celebration of the enemies of Christ and continues with celebration of the marriage of the Lamb (Jesus) to a bride (the church) whom He has made worthy of her husband. Clothed in fine white linen, the church is united to Christ in a glorious celebration. She is the exact opposite of the gaudily dressed prostitute Babylon, who opposed everything good and holy (Rev. 17). She has made herself ready by deeds that Christ has given her. As followers of Jesus, we are blessed to be called to the marriage supper, and to be readying ourselves for that day!
